Pomegranate Thyme Chai Cocoa
Each sip of this unique chai cocoa unfolds in layers- starting with deep chocolate, followed by tart pomegranate, rounded out by a hint of thyme, and finished with our masala chai blend with spices that linger.
This special drink is ideal for holiday gatherings, a night in with friends, or for an afternoon break when you want something a little fancy.
Pomegranate Thyme Chocolate Syrup
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup fresh pomegranate (juice +seeds)
- ½ cup white sugar
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 2 strips orange zest
- 4 sprigs fresh thyme
Instructions:
- Add everything to a small pot and bring to a gentle simmer for 10 minutes
- Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes to deepen the flavors
- Strain and cool completely. A few hours is great, overnight is even better
